WHO ARE LAV AND KUSH?

In Hindu mythology, Lav & Kush are the royal twins born to lord Ram and their earth mother, Sita. They were raised in the forest and became the protector of the woods, and represented music, beauty and strength. Playful yet protective warriors, these two demi gods were lovable and inspirational to all.

Meet the FLIRT of sustainable fashion. Every item in our collection is a little piece of LUXURY. We strive to use eco-friendly fabrics in beautiful textures, designed with the urban woman in mind -- the result is feminine and flirty styles that not only make her look and feel beautiful, but allows her to know she is doing the EARTH a little bit of good! Plus, Lav & Kush is locally manufactured and a percentage of revenue is directed towards various non-profits (listed below).

FABRICS

We strive to use eco friendly  sustainable fabrics in all of our collections. We are constantly researching the story behind all textiles used in the line. Fabrics typically used are Hemp and Hemp blends, Tencel and Modal Jersey, Organic cottons, Silks, Linen blends, Bamboo, Merino wool and more. All of our fabrics have a gorgeous hand and drape, providing an "Eco-luxurious" feel on the body!

Lav & Kush believes in having it ALL; not compromising style and yet all the while being aware of our environmental footprint. That's why we strive to use eco-friendly and sustainable materials as much as we can, choosing the earth-friendly alternative to the conventional, constantly researching and learning -- trying to do the best we can. Raising your awareness is the first step in change. We will not claim that we are saving the earth, but we can try. A little bit at a time.
